Who We Are
We are passionate about building a church that shines with a clear vision, mission, purpose, and values, reflecting God’s glory in all we do. As His organization, we are committed to pursuing excellence, knowing that our work is for Him. Together, we dream of a church where everyone finds their place, discovers their purpose, and thrives in ministry, united in making an eternal impact.
In these videos, our Pastor shares the vision, mission, purpose, and values of Franklin Road Baptist church and how you can have a part in leading people to discover a real relationship with Jesus.
Vision and Mission
Pastor Joel Norris
Our vision is grounded in Jesus’ Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). We are called to reach the lost, share the gospel, baptize, and disciple believers. Without this vision, souls are lost for eternity, and we are driven by the urgency to act.
Our mission is to lead people to discover a real relationship with God and others through Jesus Christ. This eternal calling is unwavering. We share the life-changing treasure of knowing God and fostering Christian community for spiritual growth.
Purpose Statement
Pastor Joel Norris
Our purpose is inspired by that of the early church found in Acts 2:41-47
Know God. We desire to lead people to a personal relationship with God through salvation, helping them know Him as Lord and Savior.
Grow Together. The Christian life isn’t meant to be isolated. Growth happens in a supportive Christian community.
Show Others. We are called to share the gospel and demonstrate our faith through serving others.
Value Statements
Pastor Joel Norris
Our values are rooted in the belief that God’s Word is central to everything we do. We prioritize the truth of the Bible above all else, keeping Christ at the center of our ministries. We are passionate about reaching and growing people through the gospel, recognizing that we are stewards, not owners, of God’s church.
We strive for excellence in all things, aiming to reflect the glory of God and maintain a joyful, supportive church environment. Focusing on God’s blessings rather than burdens, we lead with faith, always hoping for the future because, with Jesus, there is always hope.
